Each classroom at Jordan Creek, preschool through sixth grade, collaborates to create a saleable work of art for the silent and live auctions. Parent volunteers work in the classrooms to do this throughout the fall months. This year’s themes and projects were chosen in relation to curriculum, utilitarianism and conceptual thinking. Every student contributed a part to the whole project that was assembled by one or more adult helpers. Most projects required two student work times; JC teachers graciously scheduled this into an already full day. The students worked very hard to create quality works of art that are sure to provide artistic enjoyment for all.
